3. Project Estimates and Contracts

All bathroom renovation projects require a written contract before work begins. Our estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued and may be extended upon request.

Final project costs may vary based on:

• Changes in project scope or specifications
• Discovery of unforeseen site conditions
• Material price fluctuations or availability
• Additional work requested by the client
• Permit and inspection requirements
• Weather delays and scheduling changes

4. Payment Terms and Schedule

Payment terms will be clearly specified in individual service contracts. Generally, we require:

• Payment methods: cash, check, or major credit cards

Late payments may result in project delays, suspension of work, or cancellation. Returned check fees may apply.

This warranty does not cover:

Our total liability is limited to the value of the services provided under the specific contract.

We handle all necessary permits and coordinate inspections as required by Maine state and local building codes. This includes:

Clients are responsible for permit fees and any additional requirements imposed by local authorities.

7. Project Timeline and Completion

• Change orders and scope modifications
• Unforeseen site conditions discovered during work

8. Site Access and Safety

Clients must provide reasonable access to the work site during agreed hours. We maintain a safe work environment and expect clients to:

• Follow all safety guidelines and posted warnings
• Respect work area boundaries and barriers
• Keep children and pets away from construction areas
• Provide access to utilities and services as needed
• Remove valuables and fragile items from work areas

9. Change Orders and Modifications

Any changes to the original project scope must be approved in writing and may result in additional costs and timeline adjustments. Change orders require:

• Written client approval before work proceeds
• Updated cost estimates and schedules
• Material reordering if necessary
• Revised permits if required

We will not proceed with any changes without your explicit written approval.

10. Cancellation and Termination

Clients may cancel projects with written notice. Cancellation terms include:

• Written notification of cancellation intent
• Payment for work completed and materials ordered
• Delivery fees for any materials on site
• Cancellation fees may apply based on project stage

We reserve the right to cancel projects for non-payment, breach of contract, or safety concerns.

11. Intellectual Property Rights

All designs, plans, drawings, and materials created for your project remain our intellectual property unless otherwise specified in writing. This includes:

• Design concepts and drawings
• Project plans and specifications
• Construction methods and techniques
• Project photography and documentation

We may use project photos for marketing purposes unless you request otherwise in writing.

Any disputes arising from our services will be resolved through good faith negotiations. Our dispute resolution process includes:

• Direct communication to resolve issues

• Arbitration as a final option
• Legal proceedings in Maine state courts
